When you see me buying spring onions, it’ll usually mean I’m making bulgur salad. I hardly ever use them unless a recipe specifically ask for them, I just prefer normal-sized onions. However, when I do need spring onions finding these red ones makes me just a tad more content than buying white ones would. I just love their strong red colour, even though once you peel off the outer layer you’ll find the inside is plain white… Guess you eat with your eyes first, after all.
